Liquid Transmission Systems
SBCCO-China supplies slurry and process pumps, FRP and GRP piping from 50 mm to 4,000 mm, fittings, pump barges and complete line packages for mining, water treatment and chemical plants — sized against your hydraulic data, pressure-tested spool by spool in China, and shipped match-marked and crated by line number.
01 / What we supply
What we supply
Pumps and pipe are sold as commodities. They fail as systems. We would rather quote the system.

Slurry Pumps
Horizontal and vertical slurry, froth and gravel pumps with rubber, polyurethane or high-chrome wet ends. Complete pumps, or replacement liners, impellers and throatbushes for machines already installed.

Pump Barges & Intakes
Floating pump barges, pontoons and intake structures for tailings dams and process ponds — supplied with pumps, discharge hose, anchoring, walkways and handrail.

FRP Piping Systems
Filament-wound and contact-moulded FRP pipe and fittings from 50 mm to 4,000 mm, with flanged, bell-and-spigot or butt-and-strap joints, in vinyl ester, isophthalic or epoxy resin.

Large-Diameter GRP
GRP lines for raw water, seawater, tailings and effluent, supplied in transportable lengths with couplings, thrust-block details and a written jointing procedure.

Collection & Launder Piping
Collection headers, laterals, distribution piping and launders fabricated to the basin dimensions, trial-assembled and match-marked for erection.

Complete Line Packages
Spools, fittings, supports, gaskets and bolting supplied against your isometrics, with a bill of materials your site can check line by line, crated and labelled by line number.
02 / Specification
What we can build, in numbers.
If your duty falls outside this envelope, say so in the enquiry — we will tell you honestly whether it is something our shops should be building.

|---|---|
| Wet end materials | Natural rubber, neoprene, polyurethane, high-chrome A532 (Cr27), 316L, duplex, CD4MCu |
| Pipe materials | FRP / GRP (vinyl ester, isophthalic, epoxy), HDPE, rubber-lined carbon steel, 316L, duplex, PTFE- and PP-lined steel |

| Pressure rating | To PN25 depending on diameter and construction — stated per line, not per catalogue |
| Testing | Hydrostatic test per spool, Barcol hardness, laminate thickness mapping, spark test on linings, pump performance test to ISO 9906 Grade 2 |
| Field support | Jointing procedure, erection drawings, match-marking, and a supervisor available for the first joints on request |
| Delivery | Containerised, or break-bulk for large-diameter pipe; crated and labelled by line number with a loading photograph set |
03 / How we control it
The pump is rarely the problem. The duty point is.
Most pump failures we are asked to look at are not manufacturing failures. The pump is running a long way off its best efficiency point because the line changed after it was sized, or the slurry is denser than the data sheet said. We would much rather have that argument before the order than after.
We check the duty before we quote
Send flow, head, solids concentration, particle size distribution, specific gravity and temperature. If the pump you asked for is wrong for that duty we will say so and quote what fits, with the reasoning in writing.
Wear materials are matched to the slurry, not to the price
Rubber, polyurethane and high-chrome each fail in a different way. We select against particle size and impact angle and state the expected wear pattern, so you can plan the change-out instead of discovering it.
Piping is fabricated to your isometrics
Spools are made to your drawings, trial-fitted where the geometry is awkward, and crated by line number with a bill of materials that can be checked against the isometric on site.
Every spool is pressure tested and recorded
Test pressure, hold time and gauge calibration are logged per spool and issued in the data book. Linings are spark-tested and the result recorded against the spool number.
04 / Questions
Liquid transmission — common questions
Can you supply pumps interchangeable with common slurry pump frames?
Yes. We supply pumps and wear parts dimensionally interchangeable with widely used frame sizes. We do not put OEM brand names on the equipment or the documents and we do not represent parts as OEM-manufactured. Give us the frame size and we will confirm fit in writing before you order.
What is the largest FRP pipe you can make?
Up to 4,000 mm diameter. Above roughly 2,400 mm it is shipping rather than manufacturing that sets the practical limit, so we discuss transport and site jointing while we are still quoting.
Do you supply the jointing materials and procedure?
Yes. Butt-and-strap kits, resin, veil, a tooling list and a written jointing procedure ship with the pipe, and we can send a supervisor for the first joints.
Can you handle a full line package from our isometrics?
Yes. Send the line list and isometrics and we return a priced bill of materials, a spool drawing set and a crating plan organised by line number.
How do you protect FRP pipe in transit?
End caps, internal bracing on large diameters, timber cradles at calculated support points, and no stacking above the calculated crush load. We photograph the loading and send the photographs before the container is sealed.
Send the line list. We will send the package.
Upload isometrics, a pump data sheet or simply the flow, head and slurry data, and we will come back with a sized selection, materials, testing scope and a price.
