SBCCO-China supplies pressure vessels, reactors, shell-and-tube heat exchangers, tube bundles, deaerators, boilers and process tanks in carbon steel, stainless, duplex and clad alloys — built to ASME VIII, EN 13445 or GB 150 by coded welders, then NDT-inspected, hydrotested and documented in China before shipment.
01 / What we supply
What we supply
Equipment built to a named code, by welders whose qualification certificates we hold copies of, in shops we have audited ourselves.

Pressure Vessels
Horizontal and vertical vessels, separators, receivers and accumulators to 4,500 mm diameter in carbon steel, 304 / 316L, duplex or clad plate. U stamp available where the code requires it.

Shell & Tube Heat Exchangers
Fixed tubesheet, U-tube and floating head exchangers to TEMA R, B and C. Tube-to-tubesheet joints expanded and seal- or strength-welded, with helium leak testing on request.

Replacement Tube Bundles
Bundles dimensioned from your existing exchanger or drawing, in carbon steel, stainless, titanium or copper-nickel. Where the drawing is lost we measure the removed bundle and issue a report for approval.

Reactors & Agitated Vessels
Jacketed and half-pipe-coil reactors with agitators, mechanical seals and internals. Glass-lined, rubber-lined and PTFE-lined options for corrosive duty.

Deaerators & Boilers
Spray and tray-type deaerators, feedwater tanks and package steam boilers, with trays, spray valves and internals supplied as a matched assembly.

Process & Storage Tanks
Atmospheric and low-pressure tanks — shop-fabricated, or supplied as field-erected kits with pre-formed plate, prepared edges and match-marking.

03 / How we control it
A code stamp is a floor, not a guarantee.
Two vessels can carry the same stamp and be built to very different standards. What separates them is who was in the shop, which welds were actually shot, and whether anyone competent read the film. That is the part we take responsibility for.
The ITP is agreed before the price, not after
Hold points, witness points, NDT extent and who signs what are fixed in writing before the order is confirmed. That removes the argument that otherwise costs projects months at the inspection stage.
Weld maps are real documents
Every seam is numbered and tied to a WPS, to a named qualified welder, and to its NDT report. Where a joint has been re-welded the map says so and the original film is retained.
We read the radiographs ourselves
Our inspectors are certified to interpret film, not merely to collect it. Rejectable indications are reported to you the same day, with the film, before any repair is authorised.
Hydrotest is witnessed and recorded
Pressure, hold time and gauge calibration certificate are recorded. On stainless and duplex work the chloride content of the test water is checked before the vessel is filled — not after it is drained.

Steel process equipment — common questions
Can you supply ASME U-stamped vessels?
Yes, through shops holding a current ASME U certificate. We name the shop and its certificate number in the quotation so you can verify it directly with the National Board.
Can you replace a tube bundle in an existing exchanger?
Yes, and it is a large part of what we do. We need the old bundle or a dimensioned drawing, tube material and gauge, baffle spacing and the tubesheet layout. Where the drawing is lost we measure the removed bundle and issue a dimensional report for approval.
Who carries out third-party inspection?
You choose. We will engage SGS, BV, TÜV, Intertek, ABS or Lloyd’s on your behalf, or host your own inspector. Where we appoint the agency, we disclose the commercial relationship in writing before the assignment begins.
What documentation comes with the vessel?
A bound data book: material test reports, WPS / PQR, welder qualifications, weld map, NDT reports and film, heat-treatment charts, hydrotest record, nameplate rubbing, dimensional report and a dated photographic record — digital and hard copy.
How is a large vessel shipped?
Under 25 t and within the flat-rack envelope it is containerised. Above that, break-bulk or heavy-lift from Tianjin, Qingdao or Shanghai. We prepare lifting and lashing drawings and attend the loading.
